El Molino Verde or The green Mill is a quasi personal website about our experiences of downshifting to a self sufficient and frugal lifestyle in Andalucia Spain.
El Molino Verde or the Green Mill is where you may discover and read about green and frugal self sufficient living in Andalucia (Andalisia) Spain. Our pages cover Keeping Chickens , Goat Keeping, Bio Diesel, Organic Vegetable Gardening, Alternative Transport, DIY, Alternative and Holistic Medicine, Lifestyles, holidays and many other Self Reliance issues.
We do appreciate and recognise that many of you out there are better qualified and experienced in these matters than we are, we are but learners. We could find no other website that coverd the range of subjects and issues pertinent to Andalucia in Southern Spain that we wanted to learn more about or discuss with others so the answer was to publish our own.
Certainly at this point in time, the website does not have anywhere near enough content to be very informative and we are doing our utmost to bring you news and articles of interest that will aid all of us in leading our chosen lifestyles. However we hope you can see from the site navigation the subjects that we are interested in exploring and presenting to anyone who is interested enough to visit our website.
Please feel free to contact us with suggestions, requests and articles to include here if you should wish to but most importantly we would invite you to come back and visit us often to see what is new and perhaps take part in discussions on the forum when it is functional.
In Keeping with the frugality theme, this domain name "El Molino Verde" was originaly purchased by me for a client who then changed the name of his business and so no longer wanted it, so I recycled it!
